Responsible use

Understanding with care

Reflection works best when its limits and the rights of other people remain in view.

Your material and other people

Check the rules and permissions that apply before recording or obtaining material, including where participants are located. Permission to record is not automatically permission to upload, transcribe, analyze, retain, or share. A later signature does not retroactively legalize an unlawful recording.

Do not manufacture consent by omitting a participant, misidentifying a speaker, or pressuring someone to agree. A refusal may mean a feature cannot be used. Do not seek participation if that could expose you or another person to danger.

Treat transcripts, reflections, and exported reports as sensitive. A person discussed in a source may have rights even if they did not supply it. Review authority, confidentiality, and the needs of recipients before sharing. Material downloaded to your device or sent to someone else is not automatically recalled by a later server deletion.

The intended service is for adults and lawful private reflection. It is not for workplace or school assessment, employee or student monitoring, unlawful surveillance, harassment, coercion, or consequential decisions about another person’s rights and opportunities.

Interpretation and judgment

AI can make a plausible explanation sound more certain than the evidence permits. Review quotations, dates, identities, and context. Consider what is missing and whether contrary evidence changes the account.

Arusaama cannot diagnose someone, read their intentions, or determine whether they are truthful or dangerous. References to psychological concepts do not establish a disorder. Hypothetical Simulator dialogue is invented practice material, not a prediction or a record of an actual conversation.

Understanding another perspective does not require accepting harmful behavior. A repair suggestion is not a duty to reconcile. Your circumstances and qualified human advice may make distance or a boundary more appropriate.

When you need human support

Arusaama does not monitor your material or email for emergencies. The support mailbox is not a crisis service. If there is immediate danger, contact the appropriate local emergency service.

For relationship abuse support in the United States, the National Domestic Violence Hotline provides access to advocates and information about available support. Check its website for current contact options. Consider whether your device or internet activity may be monitored before opening sensitive resources.

For Europe, Victim Support Europe provides a directory of support organizations. Available services differ by country; use the organization serving your location. Arusaama is not affiliated with these organizations.

For questions about medical care, mental health, legal rights, or proceedings, seek an appropriately qualified professional. You do not need to use Arusaama, obtain another person’s agreement, or produce a report before seeking support.
